Based in Tokyo and Los Angeles, Nobuko Toda and Kazuma Jinnouchi are award-winning music composition and production team, who specializes in creating scores for film, television and video games. The duo’s music combines elements of orchestral, acoustic, electronic genres and musical sound design to create evocative and diverse soundscapes to create distinctive and emotional scores, and enhance the storytelling.
Toda and Jinnouchi have written music for numerous internationally-recognized projects - including Remothered: Tormented Fathers, Halo 5: Guardians, Uzumasa Limelight, Halo 4, A Realm Reborn - Final Fantasy XIV, Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker, Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, Metal Gear Solid 3. Soundtrack album for Halo 5: Guardians was highly recognized worldwide, and ranked #2 on Billboard’s soundtrack chart during the first week of its release.
In the recent years, Toda and Jinnouchi have started working closely with award-winning directors, Kenji Kamiyama and Shinji Aramaki, and wrote scores for Netflix ULTRAMAN, as well as the latest installment in highly-acclaimed Ghost In The Shell series, Ghost In The Shell SAC_2045, which is coming to Netflix in April 2020.
Both studied music at Berklee College of Music, graduated in 2002 after majoring in Film Scoring, and Contemporary Writing and Production. After years of collaboration with variety of creative talents, and unique experience as in-house composer at Microsoft and Konami, the duo continues to be in high demand for their understanding in music production for both linear and interactive media. Over the last two decades, the duo has received numerous awards and honors including BAFTA Games Award, NAVGTR Awards, Global Music Award, and MPSE Golden Reel Award.

Film and Game Music Composer, Orchestrator and Music Producer currently based in Tokyo, Japan.
Toda started composing at the age of four on the piano and electric organ by putting music to picture books and nursery tales. She graduates from Film Scoring and Contemporary Writing of Music at Berklee College of Music under the Georges Delerue Scholarship and Chicago Commercial Music Producer’s Award.
She worked with director Hideo Kojima at Konami Digital Entertainment as an in-house composer for 7 years where she applied her film-scoring technique and modern, traditional Hollywood composers styles, and epic, dramatic underscore, orchestral skills in music team. She composed music alongside Harry Gregson-Williams for cinematic scenes throughout “METAL GEAR SOLID 3: SNAKE EATER”, “METAL GEAR SOLID 4 GUNS OF THE PATRIOTS ”as lead composer and some of this series.
Following her departure from Konami, she established her own company, FILM SCORE LLC, which specializes in the music production of soundtracks. She is currently involved in several movies, television, and AAA video-game productions based both in Japan, Europe, and the U.S.
Toda has also worked as an Orchestrator and Executive Music Producer on Microsoft Game Studios’s best-seller video Game Halo4 & Halo5, Evil within, and Final Fantasy XIV a Realm Reborn, and more.
In 2015, She has inaugurated as chair & music director of FILM SCORE PHILHARMONIC ORCHESTRA performing in Tokyo, Japan.
KAZUMA JINNOUCHI

He has provided scores for numerous projects including Microsoft's blockbuster, Halo 5: Guardians, Halo 4, for which he recorded orchestra and choir at 20th Century Fox Newman Scoring Stage (Los Angeles, CA), Abbey Road Studios (London, UK), Rudolfinum (Prague, Czech), and mixed with Alan Meyerson at Remote Control Productions, and Kojima-Production's video game franchise Metal Gear Solid series. His most recent work is the music for the latest Halo: Infinite E3 2018 trailer.
He has also worked with a Japanese composer, Nobuko Toda, to provide music for feature films and TV series in the recent years.
For video game projects, Jinnouchi also has extensive experience working with Audiokinetic Wwise, which allows him to work closely with music implementers and audio directors, providing musical vision for the project through his understanding in interactive music.
